July 4th weekend

There is so much fun stuff to do in St. Louis on 4th of July weekend so we had to choose just a few things to do.  So we headed down to the Arch for the air show.  We thought that the kids, especially Andrew, would love to see this.  And he liked it the first few minutes but it was so HOT and the planes were loud.

I thought this was the coolest one..

Too loud!

We took a break from the heat and went inside the Arch Museum.  This is a model of the pod you ride in to the top of the Arch.  It was small!

We found a firetruck spraying it's hose so people could cool off.  That's Andrew in the front.

Look who we found on our walking to get some lunch....

We past a firetruck so I had Andrew stop in front to get a picture and the fireman jumped out of the truck and put Andrew in the driver seat!  Cool right?

On the 4th we were invited to a friends house for homemade pizza, fireworks and homemade ice-cream.
