You've had a birthday shout hooray!

Andrew turned 3 yrs old on April 12th!Because of his obsession with trains, we thought it be only fitting to have a train cake. The cake was hit! (thanks daddy for staying up late to make my cake look so good!) Andrew loved it and kept wanting to play with it, ya know make it go on the track. He was especially interested in the coal truck. When I had my back turned he grabbed a piece of coal and happily announced that he ate some coal and it was good! (black jelly beans cut in half)Once all of Andrew's little friends showed up for the party the first thing we did was head to the back yard for and Easter egg hunt. Each child got their own bucket and 6 eggs was the limit. They had so much fun and it was hilarious watching them! You could tell the seasoned egg hunters over the ones who were still getting the hang of it.Not one could wait to see what was in the eggs, Andrew is playing with his bubble ring. After the egg hunt we had some time the waste waiting for the pizza to arrive (thanks grandma B. for picking it up for us!) so all the kids were having a blast playing in the yard. It was at the point I realized that I didn't even need to plan any activities for the kids, just let them play! It was such a nice day out, sunny and not too cold and the best part......NO RAIN! It has rained the last 2 yrs on his birthday so I was a little worried about this one but it turned out great!Soon the pizza showed up and the kids went to town on it, good thing grandma B. got more pizza than we had said too! After pizza we did the cake and sang happy birthday..Well, that cute looking cake didn't get eaten right then, I had made some trains that the kids could frost and decorate and than eat it. We had a plate with a train on it with a scoop of frosting and several bowls of candy they could use to decorate their train. They had fun with it!After the cake it was time for presents and he knew exactly what that meant!

Andrew wants to say thank you to all his friends for coming to his birthday party and for the cool gifts!
We can't believe how fast the past 3 yrs have gone by. Andrew your mommy, daddy and baby sister love you so much and we are so blessed to have you in our family. You have a very loving and kind spirit about you and you are a joy to be around. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!!
